On a personal note, Mr. Hearon is a Tucson native. After graduating from the University of Arizona, Mr. Hearon practiced as a Certified Public Accountant in the Chicago office of a Big Five accounting firm. Afterwards, he returned to Tucson to attend the University of Arizona Law School, from which he graduated with the highest distinction. Thereafter, he practiced tax and real estate law in Tucson until 1985. It is at that time when he established Ashland.
Mr. Hearon is a member of the State and national bar associations, and has been a speaker at numerous professional functions, including State of Arizona Bar Association seminars on real estate and property taxes.
Mr. Hearon is also deeply involved in the State and local community including Chairman of the Greater Tucson Economic Council (7/2001-6/2003) and past chair and board memberships for many other community groups and organizations. He has been honored as a selectee for Who's Who of Arizona as well as in Who's Who in Up and Coming Americans.
